These terms describe the currently available free practice and educational resources on The Job Tests. Last updated: 2 October 2026.

1. Website operator

2. Current services

The free Excel basics pilot contains 12 original practice questions, topic feedback and a practice worksheet. The wider reflection library is in development. A topic marked as planned or in review is not an available questionnaire.

No registration or purchase is needed for the Excel pilot. The site does not currently accept purchases. Any price marked as planned is a preview, not an active offer or payment request.

3. Purpose and limits of results

Skills practice results describe the questions answered in that particular set. They do not provide a professional qualification, validated proficiency level, official certificate or guarantee of employment.

Educational reflection content is intended to help adults consider ordinary experiences and possible next steps. It does not provide a clinical diagnosis, treatment, medical advice or an assessment of another person’s eligibility for employment. Do not use a consumer report by itself to make a hiring or other consequential decision about someone.

4. Using the free pilot

Use a supported browser with JavaScript enabled. Choose an answer to each Excel question before submitting. No time limit is imposed. The service calculates your result on the server. Temporary sessions expire after 24 hours; after expiration you will need to start a new session.

The service is a development pilot. We may correct questions, improve feedback or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance or technical reasons. The version associated with a started session is retained with that session so its questions and scoring remain consistent.

5. Responsible use

Use the site lawfully and respect its technical safeguards. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other visitors, introduce malicious code or use automated requests to disrupt the service. Reasonable request limits may temporarily restrict automated or excessive use.

Do not submit information about another person without a lawful basis. The Excel pilot does not ask for names, e-mail addresses or health information.

6. Content and third-party resources

You may use the provided practice and reflection worksheets for your own learning. Other original site content remains subject to applicable copyright rules. Public-domain materials and any separately licensed resources retain their stated status; our site-wide copyright statement does not remove those permissions.

Links to third-party learning resources are provided for convenience. Those resources are operated independently and may change. Microsoft, employers and external assessment providers do not endorse or sponsor The Job Tests unless explicitly stated.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains website data, cookies, contact enquiries and temporary practice sessions.

Questionnaires involving potentially sensitive information are not currently publicly enabled. Their relevant privacy information and any required consent will be provided before that processing begins.

8. Future paid resources

Paid resources and payment processing are not available yet. Before purchases open, the relevant product description and purchase terms will state the total price and currency, delivery details, payment method, applicable cancellation or withdrawal information and complaint options. These free-service terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

9. Questions, corrections and complaints

If you find an error in a question, score or article, contact [email protected]. Include the page or test name, what you expected and what happened. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

You may also send a complaint to our registered office listed above. We will handle complaints in accordance with applicable requirements. These terms do not prevent you from contacting a competent authority, dispute-resolution body or court where you are entitled to do so.

10. Applicable law and updates

The operator is established in Hungary. These terms are subject to Hungarian law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their place of residence.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

We will update this page when the services or relevant terms change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Additional purchase terms will be made available before any paid service is offered.
