This privacy policy explains how Sasflynet Kft. (registered office: Fehérvári út 168–178/B, 1116 Budapest, Hungary; company registration number: 01-09-871548; tax number: 13755418-2-43; e-mail: [email protected]) as data controller processes personal data in connection with thejobtests.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Server log files
When you visit the website, the web server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer and browser type. Purpose: operating the service securely and detecting attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: log files are rotated weekly and deleted after approximately five weeks.
2. Cloudflare
The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) for performance and protection against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the United States; Cloudflare participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies and consent
We use the CookieYes consent tool to ask for and store your cookie preferences. Strictly necessary cookies (for example, the cookie storing your consent choice, and login cookies for site administrators) are used without consent. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set after you have given your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings button.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of your message to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest or steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
5. Backups
For security, the website and its database are regularly backed up to a server operated by Sasflynet Kft. in Hungary. Backups are retained for a limited period and then overwritten.
6. Recipients
We do not sell personal data. Data is only shared with the processors named above (Cloudflare) and where required by law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Please send your request to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Hungary this is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, naih.hu).
8. Free Excel practice sessions
No name, e-mail address or payment details are requested for the Excel pilot. When you start, the service creates a random session token and temporarily stores the test version and, after submission, the calculated result. Answers are sent to the website to calculate the score; the pilot does not store a separate raw answer history or attach your result to a public profile. Session records expire after 24 hours.
A short-lived pseudonymous rate-limit identifier derived from the request IP address is used to limit automated requests. This identifier expires after one minute. Technical server logs remain subject to the separate retention stated above. The processing supports delivery of the requested practice feedback and protection of the service; security processing relies on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Reflection questionnaires involving potentially sensitive information are not publicly enabled. We will provide instrument-specific information and any required consent before introducing that processing. Test results are not sent to advertising services or used to make hiring decisions.
9. Changes
