Your seven-day plan

  1. Days 1–2: Clear messages

Write an email with a specific action, owner and deadline. Ask a colleague to identify those three details without guessing.

  2. Days 3–4: Meetings and requests

Draft a polite clarification request, a rescheduling message and a short action summary. Read each aloud and remove unnecessary wording.

  3. Days 5–6: Reading for detail

Read a short update. List only facts it states, then separately list what it does not tell you.

  4. Day 7: check independently

Try one changed example from each topic without the guide. Repeating the same questions can reflect familiarity; use a new example to check transfer.
